Every Dairy for its profitable operations should have its own milk collection points/centers at ideal distances. A cluster of collection centers together make route. Each point shall have center/point -In –charge, which will collect milk from individual farmer and measure /weigh individual producer’s milk and payment, shall be prefixed by dairy based on fat and SNF content in the milk. The payment shall be effected fortnightly and mutually agreed basis. The milk from respective centers are collected in food grade plastic cans and transported to main dairy / chilling centers by suitable transport (Trucks/Road Tankers).Every care is taken to transport/shift within 3 to 4 hours of milking to main dairy to prevent development of acidity/spoilage. Each point cans shall have identification mark/code nos. on the cans. Farmer-Agents are communicated day to day their proceeds by SMS through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) of Microsoft Dynamics Ax2009 Server Systems with an expenditure of about 25 lakh investments.

Establishment of Chilling Center:

Chilling center at Bellur, Mandya Dist, and Karnataka with Express feeder electricity service connected with capacity of about 25 KL is under trial operations since 11.04.08, handling about 20 kl/day. Another Chilling Center at Tiptur, Tumkur Dist, and Karnataka with Express feeder electricity service

connected with capacity of about 25 KL is under trial operations since 1.08.09, handling currently about 10-12 kl/day and can be handled up to 20 KL/day. Further new Chilling Centre coming up very shortly at Devarayapatna of Hassan Dist, where exists lot potential for Good Quality raw Milk.

RECEPTION: -

Milk at main Dairy under goes various quality control tests (plot form tests, Organoloptic etc.,) and then milk is filtered & weighed. The empty cans are subjected to cleaning and sanitized by suitable detergent and sanitizer with MSDS. Thereby cans are ready for next filling and are returned to route in-charge/truck, who will in turn hand over cans to each collection centers/point. Based on FAT, SNF and content/quantity of milk payment chart is prepared for each center/point.
